University students from across Peru will participate at the XV SIMPOSIO
SNMPE and the Organizing Committee of the XV SIMPOSIO seek to continue contributing to the professional training of university students nationwide
In order to continue disseminating the importance and contribution of the mining-energy activity to its stakeholders, the National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy (SNMPE) has invited more than 60 universities nationwide so that young people from all over Peru can participate, virtually or in person, in the SIMPOSIO – XV International Mining Meeting.
The invitation from the mining association includes young university students of mining engineering, geology, metallurgy, law, and economics from different universities from Lima and other provinces, who will be able to participate of the conferences, discussion round tables and talks to be held during the SIMPOSIO, from May 21 to 23, 2024.
Spaces for virtual participation have been foreseen for the participation of the academia. A link to access from their computers or cell phones the live transmission will be provided to all students and professors who have registered through their university authorities. A limited number of students from 11 universities are being invited to attend the event in-person..
For the Organizing Committee of the XV SIMPOSIO reaching out to important national universities will not only contribute to the professional development of the students but will also provide more detailed information on the contribution of the mining industry to the development and growth of the country, presented by the main leaders of the industry.
