The 14th International Gold, Silver and Copper Symposium will feature renowned economist Dani Rodrik, whose research covers economic growth, development and political economy in the context of globalization, as part of a panel of keynote lectures to be held May 10-12, 2022.
Dani Rodrik has extensive experience in research and analysis. He is the Ford Foundation Professor of International Political Economy at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. In addition, he was previously the Albert O. Hirschman Professor in the School of Social Sciences at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton during the period from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Professor Rodrik is the president-elect of the International Economic Association.
As part of his linguistic career, his most recent book is ” Straight Talk on Trade: Ideas for a Sane World Economy” (2017) where he revisits the relationship between 3 concepts: hyperglobalization, democracy and national sovereignty.
The Symposium provides an opportunity to learn more about Dani Rodrik’s perspective on international economics, economic development and political economy.
