Innovation culture is another of the main topics to be discussed during the SIMPOSIO – XV International Mining Meeting.
La cultura de innovación es otro de los temas principales que se discutirán durante el SIMPOSIO – XV Encuentro Internacional de Minería. Indeed, on the third day of the XV SIMPOSIO, the block “Culture of Innovation: A fundamental axis for transformation and sustainability of the mining industry” will be held.
The block will start with a conference by Priscila Gomes, Business Executive and Chief People Officer of Rio Tinto. During her session, the importance of people in the transformation processes of any company will be analyzed, emphasizing the mining sector and how they contribute to industry challenges such as energy transition and sustainability.
Next, Rafael Estrada, Manager of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Process Control at Compañía Minera Antamina, will lead a panel discussion with Nathan Williams, founder and CEO of Minespider; Mike Placer, North America Mining Industry Principal Director at Accenture; and Priscila Gomes.
With a comprehensive vision of people, the panelists will discuss different aspects related to innovation in companies, such as culture, organization, capabilities, vision, and motivation for transcendence, among other topics.
