SNMPE invites university professors and students to participate in the mining event both in person and virtually.
The National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy (SNMPE) reported that five universities have already confirmed their participation at the SIMPOSIO – XV International Mining Meeting. SNMPE and the Organizing Committee reach out to these universities is an opportunity to contribute to the professional training of students nationwide.
As it is recalled, the mining association invited 61 universities from all over the country to participate in the XV SIMPOSIO, 11 from Lima and 50 from the rest of the country. Some of them will participate virtually and others in person. Young people studying Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Economics and Law will be able to listen to international and local speakers discussing the most relevant topics of the industry.
SNMPE considers that the participation of young university students is a characteristic milestone of the SIMPOSIO since its first edition in 1994, when students and professors were invited to learn from the most important leaders of the country and the region about the advances and contributions of the industry.
